Check Your Setup

If your Custom Record doesn't play, first verify that FFmpeg and YoutubeDL are properly installed in config/disccord/. Open your game logs and look for error messages related to these tools. Missing or incorrectly placed executables are the most common cause.

Verify Your URL

Test the URL you pasted by opening it in your web browser. Confirm it contains audio and is accessible. Some links expire or require authentication. Try a different, simpler URL (like a direct MP3 link) to isolate whether the problem is the URL or your setup.

Client-Side Audio

Remember that DiscCord is client-side only. If you're on a multiplayer server, only your client will hear the music—other players won't. Ensure your game volume and Jukebox volume settings aren't muted.

Restart and Reinstall

Restart your game and try again. If problems persist, verify FFmpeg and YoutubeDL versions are compatible with the mod. Reinstalling these tools or updating them may resolve processing errors. Check the mod's documentation for specific version requirements.
