Prepare Your Music Files

Gather your custom music tracks and convert them to .ogg format (Ogg Vorbis). This is the audio format the Dead Air Mod uses for station playback. You can use free conversion tools to transform MP3 or WAV files.

Locate the Configuration Folder

Navigate to your mod's configuration directory. This is typically found in your Minecraft installation folder under a config or Dead Air subdirectory. Check your mod loader's documentation if unsure of the exact path.

Add Music Files

Place your .ogg files into the designated music or stations folder within the configuration directory. Organize them by station name or mood if the mod supports multiple station folders.

Reload and Test

Restart your Minecraft world or use the mod's reload command if available. Launch the game and open your walkie-talkie tuning menu. Your new custom station should appear as an available option. Tune to it and verify the music plays correctly.
