Cubic Sun and Moon — Guide

What It Changes

The pack only touches a small number of sky textures:

Element Change
Sun Rendered as a bright 3D cube
Moon Rendered as a 3D cube with 8 cubic phases
Painting One lightly retextured painting (bonus)

Everything else in the game keeps its default textures, which is what makes the pack so lightweight.

Installing the Pack

  1. Download the pack .zip file.
  2. Place the .zip into your .minecraft/resourcepacks folder (do not unzip it).
  3. Launch Minecraft and open Options -> Resource Packs.
  4. Move Cubic Sun and Moon from the left (available) list to the right (selected) list.
  5. Click Done. Wait for the next day/night cycle and look up to see the cubic sun and moon.

The pack can be turned on or off at any time from the same screen.
