Overview
CodeChicken Lib is not a gameplay mod on its own. It is a shared library that other mods depend on, so you will rarely notice it while playing. Instead, it quietly supplies the common building blocks those mods need.
Its main areas are:
- 3D math and transformations — the vector, matrix and rotation helpers mods use to position and orient
things in the world. - Rendering — shared drawing utilities so dependent mods can display models, overlays and effects consistently.
- Networking — the plumbing that lets a mod send data between client and server.
- Configuration — a common system for reading and storing mod settings.
Because it is a library, it does not add
blocks, items or machines by itself. If you install it alone, nothing new will appear in your world. Its purpose is to let the mods that require it run correctly and avoid each one reinventing the same code.
If a mod lists CodeChicken Lib as a dependency, keep it installed alongside that mod.
