How the Charm of Undying Works

The Charm of Undying adds a dedicated accessory slot for the Totem of Undying. Normally the totem only saves you from death while it is held in your hand, which means giving up a hotbar or offhand slot. This mod changes that by letting the totem sit in its own slot, so it keeps working in the background while your hands stay free for weapons, tools, or shields.

To use it, place a Totem of Undying into the accessory slot rather than holding it. From then on, the totem behaves as it always does: when you take fatal damage, it is consumed and you are saved. The difference is purely about convenience — you no longer have to choose between holding a totem and holding something useful.

This is a small, single-purpose mod. It does not add new totems, change how the totem's protection works, or alter any other items. It simply gives the existing totem a home outside your hands.
