Do I need to do anything after installing this pack or does it just work?
The pack works automatically once installed—just load a world and sugar cane and bamboo will appear as candy canes and peppermint sticks. No crafting recipes or commands are needed.
Can I use this pack in multiplayer or does it only work in single player?
This is a resource pack, so it only changes textures on your client. Other players won't see the candy cane designs unless they also install the pack.
Why does my bamboo raft still look normal?
The bamboo raft is intentionally left unchanged by this pack to preserve vanilla wood appearance. All other bamboo blocks and items are converted to peppermint designs.
Can I harvest candy cane sugar cane and peppermint bamboo the same way as normal plants?
Yes—the pack only changes textures, not mechanics. Sugar cane and bamboo harvest, grow, and function identically to vanilla.
Will this pack work with other resource packs or will they conflict?
If another pack also modifies sugar cane or bamboo textures, whichever pack loads last will override the other. Load this pack last if you want the candy cane designs to show.
Do the wrapped present and snowman textures replace specific blocks or are they decorative?
The pack retextures certain bamboo and sugar cane related blocks to look like presents and includes snowman designs for decoration, but they use existing block slots rather than adding new items.
Can I use the striped peppermint blocks for building even if I don't want the rest of the pack?
No—this is a resource pack that reskins existing blocks, so you get all the changes together. The striped patterns appear on bamboo wood blocks automatically.
Does this pack affect performance or cause lag?
Resource packs have minimal performance impact. This pack only changes textures, so it should not cause lag on any system that runs vanilla Minecraft smoothly.
Will my old builds with sugar cane and bamboo look different if I install this pack?
Yes—any existing sugar cane and bamboo in your world will immediately display as candy canes and peppermint sticks once the pack is active.
Can I disable just the candy canes or just the peppermint to use only one theme?
No—the pack is all-or-nothing. Both sugar cane and bamboo are reskinned together, and you cannot selectively disable individual textures within the pack.
