Bosses'Rise FAQ

Craft or find a Boss Spawner and place it where you want a fight to happen, then supply it with the mod's spawn eggs or trigger items to summon a boss. Start with an easier target like the Yeti or a Pirate Captain before working up to the Infernal Dragon or Nerakyss.

Boss Spawners are the mod's core summoning block — you place one, then feed it the matching spawn egg or key item for the boss you want. Once activated it spawns the boss and can be reused, so build an arena around it before you trigger anything.

These are the mod's containment and summoning props — Cages and Big Cages hold skeletal enemies (some come pre-filled with a Skelly), while the Pile Of Bones spawn egg summons its own mob. Use them to populate dungeons or set up mob farms rather than as boss summons.

Ancient Iron Ingots and Nuggets come from Bosses'Rise loot and dungeon content rather than normal iron ore. They feed into the mod's higher-tier gear crafting, so save them instead of smelting them down.

The Infernal Dragon is summoned through its spawn egg used on a Boss Spawner, typically inside a prepared arena. Bring fire protection, a strong shield like the Dragon Guard Shield, and ranged options — the fight is long and the dragon hits hard.

Nerakyss is fought near water, and its tentacles (Kraken Tentacle, Undying Tentacle) attack separately from the main body. Kill the tentacles first, use the Kraken Trident or Kraken Cannon if you have them, and keep moving so you don't get grabbed.

The Undead Arena is a dungeon-style encounter where waves of Undead Knights, Wither Knights, and Soul Skeletons spawn. You need an Underworld Arena Key to enter, and clearing it rewards Undead Arena Loot — bring good armor and AoE weapons.

Yetis and frozen mobs use ice attacks like Ice Spike, Ice Spike Cluster, and Ice Cube, and can slow or freeze you. Wear armor with good durability, avoid standing in Ice Block Particules, and use the Frozen Fist or fire-based gear to break through.

There's no single best — Knight Sword and Warrior Sword are solid general weapons, Large Sword hits harder but slower, and Pirate Saber is fast. For defense, Enhanced Shield and Dragon Guard Shield are the top picks, with Dragon Guard Shield offering the strongest protection.

Dragon Bones drop from dragon-type bosses and are crafted into the Dragon Bones armor set (boots, chestplate, leggings). It's one of the mod's strongest armor sets, so it's worth farming dragon bosses repeatedly to complete it.

Most likely you're using the wrong spawn egg or key item for that spawner, or the spawn area is blocked. Make sure there's open space around the spawner and that you're feeding it the exact egg or key the boss requires.

It's a content mod that adds mobs, blocks, and items, so it generally plays fine alongside other mods, but boss fights with many entities and particles can tax lower-end systems. If you get lag during fights, reduce particle settings or fight in smaller arenas.
