Better With Addons FAQ

It is a companion mod to Better With Mods that brings back new and old Better than Wolves addons and updates them to newer Forge versions, plus some extra content.

The mod is available for 1.12.2 and 1.11.2.

It is a companion mod to Better With Mods and is meant to be used with it.

It detects banners up to a certain distance, whether they are placed or worn on heads, and can see past most transparent-ish blocks.

Items thrown into the top pop out of the holes on the bottom, and clogging those outputs with blocks stops them. It also has a mechanical input on the bottom that changes the redistribution.

Alicio Trees can be planted on any suitable soil, make a terrifying sound when they grow, and secrete a blood-red sap that attracts animals when their face is fed with items. Their wood is too spongy to use for anything but fuel.

The Worldscale is a structure that helps protect territories in an anarchism or faction wars setting, encouraging players to build aboveground instead of hiding near bedrock. It needs a banner placed on top of the polished Worldscale to function.

Worldscale ore spawns at specific locations based on the world seed and slowly spawns over time as its chunk is loaded. A deposit lasts forever, but there is only a finite amount in the world.

Thorny vines are a hybrid of cactus and rosebushes that can be planted on sand or mossy stonebricks, grow quickly around structures, and frequently end in thorny roses. They damage mobs and players but do not destroy items, and can be harvested for Midori.

Magma Cream Verus can be crafted into a Magma Verus block, which works almost like an ordinary Magma Block but deals magic damage instead of fire damage. Flying over one with an Elytra gives a significant vertical boost without Firework Rockets.
