Bare Bones — Guide
The Trailer Look
The pack is built to match the way Minecraft appears in Mojang's promotional trailers and renders:
- Flat, solid colours on grass, dirt, stone and wood.
- Very little surface noise, so large builds stay crisp and easy to read.
- Vivid, saturated tones that make flowers, ores and foliage pop.
- A soft, cartoon-like charm at the standard 16x resolution.
Every block and item stays instantly recognisable - it is the same Minecraft, just cleaner and more colourful.
What It Retextures
Bare Bones is a complete pack that covers the whole game, not just a few blocks:
| Area | Restyled |
|---|---|
| Blocks | Terrain, ores, wood, stone, plants and decoration |
| Items | Tools, food, materials and other items |
| Entities | Mobs and their equipment textures |
| GUI | Menus, inventories and HUD elements |
Because it is updated for Minecraft 26.2, the newest blocks and items display in the Bare Bones style instead of falling back to a mismatched default texture.
Installing the Pack
- Download the pack
.zipfile. - Place the
.zipinto your.minecraft/resourcepacksfolder (do not unzip it). - Launch Minecraft and open Options -> Resource Packs.
