Do I need to install anything else to use this pack?
No. Bare Bones 2D Block Items is a resource pack that works on standard Minecraft without any mods or add-ons. Just activate it in your resource pack menu and it works immediately.
Why do my blocks look normal when I place them but flat in my inventory?
That's exactly how this pack works by design. It only changes how blocks appear in your inventory, crafting menus, and chests. Once you place a block in the world or hold it in your hand, it displays as the normal 3D model.
How many blocks does this pack change?
The pack replaces over 500 inventory blocks with flat 2D sprites, covering most standard Minecraft blocks and items.
Will animated blocks still animate in my inventory?
Yes. If a block has an animation in the original game, the 2D sprite version will animate too, so you'll still see water flowing or lava moving as flat images.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, you can stack multiple resource packs together. If you have Bare Bones 2D loaded above another pack in your resource pack list, it will override only the inventory textures while letting the other pack handle everything else.
