Blocks
The blocks in Assisted Progression focus on utility and waste management. These blocks are essential for maintaining clean automation lines and early-game resource doubling.
Trash Cans
Trash cans are specialized blocks used to permanently delete unwanted items, fluids, or energy. They are vital for preventing server lag and inventory overflow in automated systems.

The Grinder
The Grinder is an early-game alternative to high-tech ore processing machines. It allows players to double their ore output before they have access to electricity.
- Function: Processes raw ores into two dusts.
- Operation: Place the ore inside the Grinder and interact with it (usually by clicking or using a handle) to process the material. It is slower than automated machines but highly efficient for starting players.
Climbing Rope
A utility block designed for vertical traversal. When placed on the side of a block, it can be extended downwards by clicking the top piece with more rope items.
Items
The mod adds several handheld tools that provide quality-of-life improvements for exploration and inventory management.
Player Magnet
The Magnet is a toggleable item that pulls nearby dropped items and experience orbs toward the player's inventory.
- Activation: Shift + Right-Click to toggle ON/OFF.
- Range: Configurable, typically covering a 5-8 block radius.
- Visuals: Glows when active.
Pipette
A precision fluid handling tool. Unlike a standard bucket, the Pipette can hold exactly 1,000 mB (one bucket) of fluid but allows for more precise interaction with small internal tanks in various machines.
Spawner Shifter
One of the most powerful items in the mod, the Spawner Shifter allows players to relocate monster spawners found in dungeons.
- Usage: Right-click a spawner to "pick it up." The spawner is stored within the item and can be placed elsewhere.
- Cost: Usually consumes durability or the item itself upon use, depending on the configuration.
Ender Pearl Stinger
A utility item that enhances Ender Pearl teleportation. It allows for more controlled movement and reduces the impact of teleportation damage, making it a viable mid-game travel tool.

Ore Doubling
The primary mechanic introduced is the Grinding process. By converting ores into dusts, players can then smelt those dusts into ingots. This provides a 2:1 ratio of ingots to ore blocks.
