A Background Bridge for Other Mods

Ash API adds nothing you can see or hold. It exists so that other mods can run on both major mod loaders from a single file, instead of shipping separate builds for each platform. If you installed it, it is almost certainly because another mod listed it as a dependency.

Once present, Ash API works on its own. It detects which loader is active, checks what other mods are installed, and locates the game folders and file paths it needs without asking you for anything. Settings are stored in JSON with automatic version tracking, so they carry forward when things update.

A few features are visible in normal play. Custom key bindings from dependent mods appear in the regular Controls screen rather than a separate menu. Settings screens for those mods can be opened straight from the mod list. Ash API also listens for client ticks, resource pack reloads, and right-clicks on world blocks, passing those events along to whichever mods need them.

There is nothing to configure here. Install it, leave it alone, and let the mods that depend on it do their work.
