Armory Of The Wild Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need any other mods for Armory of the Wild to work?
Armory of the Wild works on its own as a resource pack, but you'll see custom weapon and mob models properly only if you also install Polytone and either ETF or EMF. Without these, textures will apply but 3D models won't display correctly.
Why do my weapons and mobs look flat or wrong?
You're missing the model support mods. Install Polytone and either ETF (for Java) or EMF (for Bedrock), then restart your game. The resource pack alone can't display 3D weapon and mob models without these.
How do I find Zelda weapons in survival mode?
Zelda weapons replace vanilla tools and swords, so you'll find them through normal crafting and loot. Mine wood to get a Hylian Axe instead of a

Standard hostile mobs like Zombies, Skeletons, and Endermen become Bokoblins, Stalnox, and Constructs. Vindicators specifically turn into Yiga Blademasters holding a Windcleaver sword.
Do the glowing textures work in all light levels?
Yes, glowing textures on certain items and mobs emit light so they're visible in complete darkness. This is especially noticeable on weapons and the Stalnox's eye.
Will this pack work with Backported Spears or Copper Age Backport?
Yes, Armory of the Wild includes custom textures for weapons added by those mods, so they'll match the Zelda theme when you use all three together.
What's the difference between the 16x and 32x textures in this pack?
The pack mixes both resolutions—some items use crisp 16x textures while others use detailed 32x textures to create a unique blended art style. You don't choose between them; both are applied together.
Can I use this on a multiplayer server?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so you can use Armory of the Wild on any server without the server installing it. Other players will see vanilla items and mobs unless they also have the pack installed.
Do I need to enable any special settings in my launcher?
No special launcher settings are needed. Just load the resource pack normally in your resource pack folder, and make sure Polytone and your chosen model mod (ETF or EMF) are installed as separate mods.
Will this pack affect my game's performance?
The resource pack itself has minimal impact, but the model support mods (Polytone and ETF/EMF) may use slightly more resources. Most modern systems handle this fine, but older hardware might see a small FPS drop.
