Notes

Labels are entities rather than blocks, which is what lets them float in open air. That also means a very large number of them in one small area behaves like any other crowd of entities, so it is worth spacing them out the way you would space out item frames.

Nothing else in the game is altered: no new blocks, no changed vanilla recipes, and no world generation changes. Removing the labels leaves the world exactly as it was.
