Using Anytag

Anytag is a small, single-purpose mod built around one item: the Anytag. Its job is to let you leave short pieces of named, colour-coded text floating in the world, so a glance tells you what a container or area is for without opening anything or reading a sign.

To use it, place an Anytag on or beside the thing you want to label. The text floats next to the block rather than sitting flat on it, which makes it readable from a distance and easy to spot among other blocks. You give the tag a name, and you choose a colour for it, so labels can be grouped at a glance.

Typical uses are chests, animal pens, market stalls and paths. Colour-coding lets you sort those at a glance: one colour for storage, another for livestock, another for routes. Because the label is attached to the spot rather than to a screen, it stays useful while you walk around your base.
