Using Variant Storage
The mod supports storing animal variants in the same pen. For example, you can keep red, white, and brown sheep together. Open the pen interface and use the variant selection tool to organize animals by their appearance or type. This helps you track which variants you have without needing separate pens.
Customizing Pen Display
Adjust the visual scaling and display settings so each pen shows what's inside at a glance. You can configure:
- How animals are visually represented on the pen block
- Size and style of the display
- Information shown (animal count, type, variants)
Managing Multiple Pens
Place several pens in organized rows or sections. Use the detailed settings menu to label or note what each pen contains. This system lets you run multiple specialized farms—one for breeding, one for milk production, one for wool—without cluttering your world with animals.
Keep pens close to your base for easy access to harvesting and management.
