Dry Your Raw Clay
Clay items must be dried before firing. The drying process takes time, so set up multiple racks if you're working on several pieces at once.
Build and Use a Vertical 
Kiln
1. Construct a vertical pit-flame kiln following the mod's structure guidelines
2. Load your dried clay items into the kiln
3. Add fuel to the kiln's fire chamber
4.
5. Fired pottery and ceramic components will be ready to collect once the kiln cools
Tips for Efficiency
Plan ahead by drying multiple batches of clay simultaneously on separate racks. This ensures you always have dried materials ready for the kiln. Organize your workspace so the drying racks, kiln, and storage are close together. Different pottery types may have different firing requirements, so refer to your in-game guidebook for specific recipes.
