Prepare Your Farm for Seasonal Crop Changes

Understanding Seasonal Crop Cycles

Aeternum Seasons changes how your crops look as the year progresses. Tomatoes, onions, and rice display different textures during spring, summer, autumn, and winter. These visual changes happen automatically—you don't need to replant or do anything special.

Setting Up Your Farm

Plant your crops normally using standard seeds and growth mechanics. The mod only changes their appearance; growth speed and harvest timing remain unchanged. As seasons shift in your world, walk past your fields to see the textures update gradually over time.

To make seasonal changes most visible, build your farm in an open area where you can see the sky. This lets you notice when the atmosphere changes alongside your crops.

Protecting Crops During Weather

During heavy rain and weather shifts, your crops and farm animals receive protection from the mod. You don't need to build shelters or take action—the pack handles this automatically. However, you can still build roofs and structures for aesthetic purposes or to create a cozy farm atmosphere that matches the current season.
