How do I know what season it is in my world?
The sky color, weather patterns, and appearance of trees and crops all change to reflect the current season. You can also check the visual state of your farm—crops will look different stages of growth, leaves will shift colors (especially to orange in autumn), and snow will cover the ground in winter.
Do my crops need replanting when seasons change?
No, your crops stay planted and simply change appearance as seasons progress. The pack updates the textures of crops like tomatoes, onions, and rice to show seasonal growth stages, but you don't need to replant them.
Why is my farm covered in snow?
Winter has arrived in your world. Snow covers the ground during the winter season as part of the seasonal cycle. It will melt away when spring returns.
How do I build a portal to the Frost Realm?
Build a frame using glowstone blocks and light it to activate the portal, similar to how you'd create a Nether portal. This will transport you to the Frost Realm, a freezing landscape with blizzards and icy enemies.
How do I get to the Heat Realm?
Construct a portal frame using nether wart blocks and activate it to enter the Heat Realm. This dangerous dimension contains fire monsters and hazardous terrain.
Will the seasonal changes make my game lag?
No, the pack spreads visual updates gradually over time to keep performance smooth. You won't experience sudden lag spikes from seasonal transitions.
Do villagers stop working during bad weather?
No, villagers continue to work and restock their trades even during heavy rain and other severe weather shifts, so your trading and farming routines stay uninterrupted.
What happens to my pets during seasonal weather changes?
Your pets and farm animals are protected during heavy weather shifts, so they won't take damage or disappear when storms or extreme seasonal conditions occur.
Can I eat the new crops like tomatoes, onions, and rice?
