Convert a Custom Number Array to Hexadecimal
Manual UUID Conversion
If you already have a UUID as a 4-integer array, you can convert it directly without needing an entity present.
Steps
1. Set your UUID array in storage by running: /data modify storage uuid:in UUID set value [int1, int2, int3, int4]
- Replace
int1,int2,int3,int4with your actual integer values
2. Execute the conversion function: /function uuid:convert
3. Retrieve the formatted result: /data get storage uuid:out plain
The mod will process your custom array and output the hexadecimal equivalent in the uuid:out storage location.
Use Cases
This approach is helpful when you're working with UUID data from external sources, debugging stored UUIDs, or converting batch data without needing the original entity to be loaded in the world.
