Set Up the Classic Error Data Pack in Your World

Installation Steps

Before Herobrine can haunt your world, you need both the data pack and resource pack loaded together.

1. Place the data pack folder into your world's datapacks folder

2. Place the matching resource pack into your resourcepacks folder

3. Load into your world

4. Run /reload in chat to activate the data pack

5. Check that custom models appear—if you see Herobrine with glowing white eyes and the structures look correct, setup is complete

Verify It's Working

Once loaded, you should notice:

  • Strange structures generating in new chunks (sand pyramids, mossy pyramids, leafless forests)
  • Tiny underground tunnels that look hand-mined
  • A feeling of being watched in certain areas

If models don't appear or Herobrine looks like a regular player, reload both packs and try /reload again. Both packs must be present for the full experience.
