Install the Resource Pack and Verify It's Working

Installation Steps

1. Download the resource pack file to your computer.

2. Open your Minecraft launcher and navigate to the installations folder.

3. Locate your game version folder (1.20.1 or 1.21.11) and open the resourcepacks directory. Create this folder if it doesn't exist.

4. Move or copy the downloaded resource pack file into the resourcepacks folder.

5. Launch Minecraft and open a world with Alex's Mobs installed.

Confirming the Pack is Active

Open your inventory and look at items dropped by Alex's Mobs creatures or crafted from the mod. The item icons should display clean, modern pixel art that matches vanilla Minecraft's visual style. If items still show older or blurry textures, the pack may not be loaded.

You can also check the Resource Packs screen in Settings—the pack should appear in the "Active" list on the left side. If it's in the "Available" list instead, click it and select the arrow to move it to Active.
