Profiles let you keep multiple HUD arrangements and swap between them instead of rebuilding your layout every time your setup changes.
Creating a Profile
Open the SpiffyHUD editor and look for the profile or layout management section. Create a new profile and give it a clear name, such as "PvP", "Recording", or "4K". Build your layout while that profile is active. Each profile stores its own element positions, sizes, and visibility settings independently.
Switching Profiles
Switch the active profile from the editor or, if the mod exposes it, from a keybind or menu option. Switching applies the stored layout instantly. This is handy when you move between a laptop screen and a large monitor, since a layout tuned for one resolution may look cramped or tiny on the other.
Managing and Backing Up Layouts
Keep profile names short and descriptive so you can identify them quickly. If you experiment heavily, duplicate a working profile before making big changes so you can revert by switching back. Because profiles are stored as config data, back up the mod's config folder before major Minecraft or mod updates. If a layout breaks after an update, switch to a known-good profile or reset the affected elements rather than deleting everything.
