Troubleshoot Missing Discord Notifications

Verify Bot Permissions

If notifications aren't appearing in Discord, check that your bot or webhook has permission to send messages in the target channels. In your Discord server settings, confirm the bot role has "Send Messages" and "Embed Links" permissions enabled.

Check Mod Configuration

Review the mod's config file to ensure:

  • The webhook URL or bot token is correct and hasn't expired
  • Event types you want to track are enabled (not commented out or set to false)
  • The correct Discord channel IDs are specified
  • The mod is actually running on your server

Restart and Test

After making configuration changes, restart your Minecraft server. Then log in and perform an action that should trigger a notification (like logging in or chatting).

Check Server Logs

Look at your server's console or log files for error messages related to Discord connection failures. These often indicate authentication issues or network problems that prevent the mod from reaching Discord.
