Set Up Discord Channel Notifications for Server Events

Connect Your Discord Server

Before receiving notifications, link your Discord server to your Minecraft server. You'll need the Discord webhook URL or bot token from your Discord server settings. Access the mod's configuration file (usually in your server's config folder) and enter your Discord server details.

Configure Which Events to Report

Once connected, decide which in-game events you want posted to Discord. Common options include:

  • Player login and logout messages
  • Chat messages from the game
  • Death announcements
  • Block placement or destruction (if enabled)
  • Mob spawning or boss defeats

Edit the mod's configuration to enable or disable each event type. Most mods let you choose specific channels for different event categories—for example, sending deaths to one channel and general chat to another.

Test Your Connection

Join your Minecraft server and perform an action that triggers a notification (like logging in or saying something in chat). Check your Discord channels to confirm the message appears. If nothing shows up, verify your webhook URL is correct and that the bot has permission to post in those channels.
