Locating the Leviathan
The Leviathan spawns in deep ocean biomes below Y=53. This is the hardest-hitting sea monster in the mod, so come prepared with strong armor and weapons. Search deep ocean trenches and abyssal zones—the Leviathan's massive armored head and 700-block trailing body are unmistakable once you spot them.
Preparing for Battle
Bring a full set of diamond or netherite armor, healing potions, and a strong sword or trident. The Leviathan deals heavy damage, so prioritize defense. Stay mobile and avoid its body as it sweeps through the water. Attack the head when possible, as this is where damage registers most effectively.
Collecting Scales
Defeat the Leviathan and collect exactly 26 scales from its body. These grey and maroon scales are the rarest drops and craft into the strongest armor set in the mod, with swords dealing 60 damage. Store your scales safely before pursuing other bosses, as they're valuable for endgame gear.
