Finding a Cute Bloop

The Cute Bloop is a friendly whale that spawns near the ocean surface, typically above Y=40. Search shallow ocean biomes and you'll spot this gentle giant swimming peacefully. Unlike the hostile Pale Bloop, the Cute Bloop won't attack you—it's safe to approach.

Crafting and Placing the Saddle

Defeat hostile Bloops or other sea creatures to collect Bloop scales. Use 26 Bloop scales in a crafting table to create a Bloop Saddle. This saddle is your key to riding.

Mounting and Traveling

Swim up to the Cute Bloop and place the saddle on it using the saddle item. Once equipped, right-click the Bloop to mount it. You can now ride across the ocean surface at speed, making long-distance ocean travel much faster. The Cute Bloop won't take damage while you're riding, making it a safe way to explore coastal areas and search for other sea monsters.
