Access the Mouth Slot
Hold Shift and Right-Click your saddlebag-equipped wolf to open its inventory. You'll see a dedicated mouth slot separate from the main storage area.
Place a Glowing Item
Drag any item into the mouth slot. Your wolf will visually hold that item in its jaws as it walks beside you. The item will emit dynamic light as your wolf moves, lighting up the surrounding area.
Maximize Light Coverage
For the brightest effect, place a torch or soul torch in the mouth slot. These items produce significantly wider light coverage than other glowing items like lanterns or glow berries. Soul torches provide a distinctive blue-green glow.
This setup is especially useful for night travel, cave exploration, or creating a mobile light source that follows you automatically. You can swap items in and out of the mouth slot whenever needed—just open the inventory again and drag a different item in.
