Set Up Your Wolf's Storage for the First Time

Tame and Prepare Your Wolf

Find a wild wolf in the world and tame it using bones. You'll know it's yours when it has a red collar. Make sure you have the wolf nearby before proceeding.

Craft and Equip the Saddlebag

Open a crafting table and create a saddlebag using leather, sticks, and string. Once crafted, hold Shift and Right-Click your tamed wolf to open its custom inventory menu.

You'll see several slots in the interface. Locate the saddlebag slot (usually marked visually) and place your crafted bag into it. The bag will appear on your wolf's back, and you'll immediately unlock 12 additional storage slots.

Start Storing Items

With the bag equipped, you can now drag items from your inventory into the wolf's storage slots. Your wolf can carry extra blocks, tools, and supplies as you explore. Only you (the owner) can access this inventory—other players cannot open it.

Your wolf is now ready to serve as a mobile storage companion.
