Switch Items Faster Using Numbered Hotbar Slots

Reading Your Hotbar Numbers

Russo Tweaks adds clear numbers (1–9) to each slot in your hotbar at the bottom of the screen. These numbers match your keyboard keys, making it easier to identify which slot contains which item without looking away from combat or building.

Using Number Keys in Combat

During fights, press the number key corresponding to your hotbar slot instead of scrolling with the mouse wheel. For example:

• Press 1 to instantly switch to your sword in slot 1
• Press 2 to grab your bow from slot 2
• Press 3 to pull out healing potions from slot 3

This is faster than scrolling, especially when you're taking damage and need to heal or switch weapons mid-fight.

Organizing Your Hotbar

Arrange your most-used items in slots 1–5 for quick access. Place weapons in early slots, healing items in the middle, and building blocks or tools toward the end. The numbered display makes it simple to remember where everything is, so you can react faster without fumbling through your inventory.
