Troubleshoot Shader Compatibility Issues
Verify Mod Compatibility
Prism Skies Shaders works best with specific Minecraft versions and shader loaders. Check that your installation uses a compatible version. Some mods that heavily modify rendering (like certain lighting or dimension mods) may conflict with shader effects.
Check for Conflicting Visual Mods
If the sky looks broken, glitchy, or doesn't appear at all:
- Disable other shader packs or visual enhancement mods
- Remove mods that alter skybox rendering
- Test with only Prism Skies enabled to isolate the problem
Reset Shader Configuration
Corrupted settings can cause visual errors. Return to Shader Options and select "Reset to Defaults" if available. This clears any problematic custom values.
Verify Installation
Ensure the shader pack files are in the correct folder (typically the shaders directory in your game folder). Reinstalling the mod may resolve missing or corrupted files.
Check Game Logs
If issues persist, review your latest game log for error messages related to shader rendering. This helps identify whether the problem is mod-specific or system-related.
