Capture Screenshots That Showcase the Sky Effects
Time Your Screenshots
Prism Skies Shaders shine during specific times of day. Plan your shots around:
- Sunrise and sunset: When color transitions are most dramatic and vivid
- Clear nights: When nighttime sky colors are fully visible
- Midday: When daytime colors are most saturated
Use commands to set the time precisely if you want to catch a specific moment without waiting.
Position for Best Composition
Climb to high ground or use creative mode to position your camera where the sky dominates the frame. Include terrain or landmarks in the foreground to show how the new sky complements the landscape.
Adjust Lighting and Settings
Before capturing, fine-tune your shader settings to show the effects at their best. Increase saturation slightly if you want colors to pop, or reduce it for a more subtle look. Disable HUD elements (F1 key) for cleaner shots.
Experiment with Angles
Take multiple shots from different angles and times. Horizontal shots show color gradients across the horizon, while upward angles showcase the full sky dome. Compare results to find your best showcase images.
