What Blueprints Do

Blueprints let you capture a section of your world—buildings, landscapes, or block arrangements—and save them as reusable structures for your tutorial scenes. This is faster than building everything from scratch inside the editor.

Selecting an Area

1. Hold a piece of Paper in your hand

2. Look at the world and use the blueprint tool to define a rectangular region

3. Select your starting corner and drag to your ending corner to capture the area

4. The selected region will be highlighted

Saving Your Blueprint

Once you've selected the area, confirm your selection through the menu. The structure is now saved and can be placed into any of your tutorial scenes.

Using Blueprints in Scenes

Inside the visual editor, you can paste your saved blueprints directly into your tutorial. This is useful for:

  • Showing before-and-after states
  • Demonstrating multi-block structures
  • Creating consistent environments across multiple guides

Blueprints are stored locally and can be exported later when you share your tutorials.
