Gather Experience
Skill points are earned by collecting XP just like you normally would in Minecraft. Mine ore, defeat mobs, smelt items, breed animals, or complete any activity that grants vanilla experience. There's no special requirement—any XP you gain counts toward your first skill point.
Check Your Progress
Press O to open the skill tree menu. At the top of the interface, you'll see your current XP total and how much you need for your next skill point. Once you've accumulated enough experience, your first point will be awarded automatically.
Spend Your Point
With your first skill point ready, return to the skill tree menu and select a tree that appeals to your playstyle. Browse the available nodes—each shows what stat or ability it grants. Click an unlocked node to spend your point. You can only unlock nodes that are directly connected to nodes you've already purchased, so plan a path through the tree.
Your character will immediately gain the bonuses from that node. You can continue gathering XP to earn more points and expand your build.
