Choose Your Primary Tree

Open the skill tree menu with O and examine the available trees. Each specializes in different aspects—some enhance combat damage, others boost survivability, and some grant utility abilities. Select one tree that matches your intended playstyle and plan a path through its nodes.

Follow a Connected Path

You can only unlock nodes adjacent to ones you've already purchased. Start with an early node and trace a route deeper into the tree. This forces meaningful decisions: do you branch left for health bonuses or right for damage? Commit your skill points along this path to build synergy.

Combine Multiple Trees

Once you've invested in your primary tree, you can start unlocking nodes in secondary trees. This is where hybrid builds shine—combine a damage tree with a utility tree, or mix defensive and offensive paths. The mod allows you to draw from multiple trees simultaneously, so experiment with different combinations to discover powerful synergies that suit your preferred combat style.
