Set Up Checkpoints for Player Progression

Understanding Checkpoint Plates

Checkpoints are special plates that mark safe restart points on your parkour track. When a player falls or takes damage, they automatically teleport back to their most recent checkpoint instead of losing all progress.

Placing Checkpoints Strategically

Place checkpoint plates at natural breaking points in your course—after completing a difficult jump sequence, before a dangerous section, or at the midpoint of long tracks. Avoid placing them too close together, as this removes challenge. A checkpoint every 30-50 blocks of horizontal distance works well for most courses.

Managing Checkpoint Order

Checkpoints activate in the order players reach them. The mod tracks which checkpoint each player last touched, so they always respawn at the correct location. You can add or remove checkpoints after creation; existing player progress updates automatically to the nearest valid checkpoint.
