Choose the Right Grass Model Style for Your World
Understanding the Four Model Styles
Os' Colorful Grasses offers four distinct model options that change how grass appears across your world. Each style affects both the height and density of foliage, letting you customize the visual feel of plains and grasslands.
Short clumps create a subtle, low-profile look ideal for manicured or sparse landscapes. Full fluffy grass delivers maximum density and height, making fields feel lush and overgrown. Mixed style blends short and tall variants together, creating natural-looking field variety without overwhelming density. Standard cross models preserve the classic flat sprite appearance if you prefer minimal visual change.
How to Select Your Style
Access the resource pack settings through your texture pack options menu. Most packs of this type include a configuration screen or folder where you can toggle between the four model variants. Select the style that matches your world's aesthetic—use shorter models for built-up areas or farms, and fuller styles for wild biomes and exploration zones.
You can change styles at any time without affecting your world save. Experiment with different options to find what feels right for your playstyle.
