Use OreUI Recreation with OptiGUI for Extended Customization

What OptiGUI Adds

While OreUI Recreation handles standard Java screens, OptiGUI is a separate mod that enables custom graphics for additional containers like barrels and other variant blocks. The two tools work together to expand your interface customization.

Setting Up Both Tools

Install OptiGUI as a mod (in your mods folder), then keep OreUI Recreation as your active resource pack. OptiGUI reads custom graphics files and applies them to blocks that OreUI Recreation's resource pack alone cannot reach.

When both are active, barrels and similar containers display custom styling that matches the Bedrock aesthetic established by OreUI Recreation.

Checking Compatibility

Launch your world and open a barrel. If it displays a styled interface matching your other containers, both tools are working together correctly. If the barrel screen looks different from your chests and furnaces, verify that OptiGUI is installed and enabled in your mods folder.
