See the Bushy Leaf Models in Different Biomes
Locate Tinted Leaf Variants
Travel to a jungle or dark oak forest. Look up at the tree canopies—you'll see the custom 3D leaf models applied to the foliage. The mod uses multiple tinted base leaf models (base_leaves, base_leaves2, base_leaves3, and base_leaves4) that automatically match the biome's leaf color. These models add volume and depth to what would normally be flat vanilla leaves.
Find Untinted Leaf Variants
Visit a birch forest or snowy biome to see the untinted leaf variations. These models (base_leaves_notint and its numbered variants) don't receive biome tinting, so they display in their natural pale colors. Compare the visual difference between tinted and untinted forests to appreciate how the mod adapts to different environments.
Inspect Under Custom Lighting
Enable your favorite shader pack and return to these biomes. The extra 3D leaf layers will now cast shadows and reflect light according to your shader's rules, creating a more realistic and immersive canopy effect.
