Understanding Festive Decorations
New Years Delight adds two main decorative blocks to welcome good luck: 
Kadomatsu (Bamboo Pine arrangements) and 
Shimekazari (sacred rope decorations). These blocks capture the spirit of Oshogatsu celebrations and can be placed around your base.
Placing Decorations
1. Craft or obtain Kadomatsu and Shimekazari blocks
2. Choose prominent locations near your home's entrance or main areas
3. Place the blocks by right-clicking where you want them
4. Arrange multiple decorations for a more festive atmosphere
Decoration Tips
Traditionally, these items are placed at entrances and doorways to invite good fortune. Consider placing Kadomatsu on either side of your front door and hanging Shimekazari above doorframes. You can mix these decorations with other Farmer's Delight blocks and your own building style. The decorations are purely cosmetic but add authentic Japanese holiday ambiance to your base. Group them with your holiday cooking areas for a complete festive setup.
