Preparing an Osechi Box Meal

Understanding Osechi Boxes

Osechi boxes are elaborate multi-compartment dishes that represent traditional Japanese New Year meals. This mod lets you craft and cook large Osechi boxes using ingredients you've prepared, including mochi, red bean paste, and other holiday components.

Crafting Your Osechi Box

1. Gather all required ingredients: cooked mochi, Adzuki bean paste, and other specified items

2. Use the crafting table or cooking equipment to combine these ingredients into an Osechi box

3. The box will display as a finished holiday meal ready to serve

Serving and Sharing

Once prepared, you can place your Osechi box on tables or surfaces for decoration and sharing with friends. The meal represents prosperity and good fortune for the coming year. Consider preparing multiple boxes if you're hosting a celebration with other players. You can also prepare complementary dishes like Toshikoshi Soba noodles and Amazake drinks to create a complete festive spread alongside your Osechi boxes.
