Using Multi Mine for Group Resource Gathering Runs
Planning a Cooperative Mining Trip
Multi Mine turns resource gathering into a team activity. Rather than splitting up and mining alone, a group can concentrate on the same ore vein or block cluster and break it faster together. This is ideal for branch mining parties, cave exploration crews, or clearing ore pockets in the Nether.
Running the Trip
1. Choose a target area rich in the resource you want (a cave system, a deepslate ore cluster, or a Nether debris field).
2. Move as a group and pick
one block at a time to focus on.
3. Have everyone mine that block together, then shift to the next.
4. Collect drops as you go so nothing despawns or gets left behind.
Making It Efficient
- Designate a caller to point out the next block so the group does not scatter.
- Keep tools repaired and enchanted; shared speed still depends on having working pickaxes.
- Use the pooled speed to clear obstructive blocks like obsidian or deepslate that would otherwise slow the run.
- For large veins, work outward from a single starting block so the group stays clustered and every hit contributes to the same target.
