Server and Client Requirements

For shared block breaking to work, Multi Mine generally needs to be present on both the server and each participating client. If only one side has it, players will not see their efforts combined. Before inviting others to mine together, confirm the mod is installed consistently across the server and all clients.

Verifying It Works

1. Have two players stand at the same block.

2. Both hold the mine input on that block.

3. Compare the break speed to a single player mining alone.

4. If the block breaks noticeably faster with two miners, shared progress is active.

Troubleshooting Shared Progress

  • If nothing changes, check that both players are targeting the identical block, not adjacent ones.
  • Confirm no one is mining through a different tool tier that cannot harvest the block, which can stall the group.
  • Restart the server after adding the mod to ensure it loads correctly.
  • On larger servers, make sure permissions or region plugins are not blocking block breaking in that area, which would prevent any progress regardless of the mod.
