Understanding the Shared Mining Mechanic

Multi Mine lets several players contribute to breaking the same block at once. Instead of each player waiting for their own turn, everyone's mining progress is pooled, so the block breaks faster the more people are hitting it. To use this, simply have two or more players target the same block and hold their attack/mine input on it simultaneously. You do not need to craft anything or open a menu — the mod works passively once installed on the server and clients.

Steps to Mine Cooperatively

1. Gather your group around a single block you all want to break.

2. Everyone aims at that exact block.

3. All players hold down the mine button at the same time.

4. Watch the crack overlay advance faster than a solo player could manage.

Tips for Best Results

• Make sure everyone is actually looking at the same block face; if one player is mining a different block, their effort does not count toward the shared one.
• This is most useful on high-hardness blocks like obsidian or deepslate ores where solo mining is slow.
• If progress seems not to combine, confirm the mod is present on both the server and every client, since shared progress depends on all parties running it.
