Gathering Fruit with Shears
Shearing Apple Cows is the primary way to collect their fruit. Equip shears and approach the cow you want to harvest.
1. Hold shears in your hand
2. Right-click on the Apple Cow
3. The cow will drop fruit items
4. Collect the drops
What You'll Get
Different cow types yield different rewards:
- Apple Cows drop regular apples
- Golden Apple Cows drop golden apples
- Enchanted Golden Apple Cows drop rare enchanted golden apples
You can shear the same cow multiple times, making them a renewable resource for fruit. The Enchanted Golden Apple Cows are particularly valuable since enchanted golden apples are difficult to obtain through normal survival gameplay. Consider building a dedicated farm to keep these cows contained and easily accessible for regular harvesting.
