How to Find and Identify Apple Cows

Locating Apple Cows in Your World

Apple Cows spawn naturally in grassy biomes similar to regular cows. They blend in with standard herds, so look carefully for the distinctive fruit on their bodies. You'll encounter three varieties:

• Apple Cows: Red-colored with apples visible on their backs
• Golden Apple Cows: Yellow-tinted with golden fruit
• Enchanted Golden Apple Cows: Rare variant with enchanted golden apples and a distinctive green-leafed appearance

Spotting Them Easily

The easiest way to identify them is by their unique coloring compared to regular brown-and-white cows. Apple Cows have a reddish hue, while Golden Apple Cows are noticeably yellow. The Enchanted variant is the rarest and will have a more ornate appearance with visible green foliage.

These cows may occasionally lie down to take naps during the day, which is a good indicator you've found a special cow. Once you've located them, you can lead them back to your base using wheat, just like regular cows, or harvest them immediately with shears.
