How to Set Up an Apple Cow Farm

Building Your Farm

Create an enclosed area to keep your Apple Cows contained and make harvesting convenient.

1. Build a pen using fences or walls at least 2 blocks high

2. Add a gate for easy access

3. Place grass blocks or dirt inside so the cows can graze

4. Leave enough space for the cows to move and lie down

Breeding and Maintenance

Lead Apple Cows to your farm using wheat, just like regular cows. Once you have multiple cows, you can breed them by feeding wheat to two cows at a time. This creates a sustainable population for continuous harvesting.

Keep your farm well-lit to prevent hostile mobs from spawning nearby. Since these cows take naps during the day, you'll see them lying down—this is normal behavior and doesn't affect their ability to be sheared. A dedicated farm makes it easy to harvest fruit regularly without searching the world.
