Troubleshoot Missing Dismemberment Effects

Check Your Settings

If mobs aren't dismembering when they die:

1. Open Settings → Other

2. Scroll to the bottom and verify Animated Corpse is checked

3. If it's unchecked, click it to enable the feature

4. Return to your world and test on a compatible mob

Verify Compatibility

Make sure you're testing on a mob that supports dismemberment:

• Zombies
• Zombie Pigmen
• Skeletons
• Creepers

Other mobs will never show dismemberment effects.

Client-Side Limitation

Remember that this mod is entirely client-side. On multiplayer servers, dismemberment only appears for you locally. If you're on a server without the mod installed, or if other players don't have it enabled, they won't see the effects. This doesn't affect gameplay—it's purely visual.
