The Laser Drill is the ultimate end-game resource generator. It does not mine existing blocks but creates ores out of "nothing" by drilling into bedrock.
Setup
- Laser Drill: Must be placed over a hole that has a clear line of sight to Bedrock or the Void.
- Laser Drill Prechargers: Up to 4 Prechargers must be placed
one block away from the Drill, facing it. These require massive amounts of RF. - Power: Each ore costs 6,000,000 RF. Prechargers can accept up to 5,000 RF/t each (20,000 RF/t total).
Laser Focus
By placing Laser Focus items (colored glass-like items) into the Drill's internal inventory, you can increase the weight of specific ores in the generation table.
| Focus Color | Ores Favored |
|---|---|
| Black | Coal |
| Light Blue | Diamond |
| Lime | Emerald, Uranium |
| Yellow | Gold |
| Brown | Iron |
| Blue | Lapis Lazuli |
| Red | Redstone |
| White | Nether Quartz |
