Craft Your First Mega Stone

Gathering Materials

Before you can Mega Evolve your Pokémon, you need to craft a Mega Stone. Each species has its own stone with a unique crafting recipe. Check your crafting menu or a crafting guide to see what materials your target stone requires. Most recipes use common Minecraft materials combined with special ingredients found through exploration or combat.

Crafting at the Workbench

Once you've gathered the necessary materials, place them in your crafting grid according to the recipe. The resulting Mega Stone will have a custom icon and a suffix identifier to distinguish it from stones added by other mods. This prevents conflicts and ensures your stone works correctly in battle.

Using Your Stone

After crafting, keep the stone in your inventory during battle. When your Pokémon meets the conditions to Mega Evolve (usually at a certain level or with specific stats), you can trigger the transformation during combat. The stone is consumed upon use, so craft multiple stones if you plan to Mega Evolve frequently.
